#1 Shell doesn't prompt correctly

When returning from multiple network receives, the shell sometimes returns double prompts, e.g. > >

Some responses can return the shell to a line without a prompt. This happens intermittently and it's not immediately obvious why.

Doesn't affect functionality but is irritating.
