When we released PHPNews 1.1.0, a few small bugs fell through the net. With this new release PHPNews 1.1 should now be practically bug free. Not only bugs were fixed in this release, a Spanish language file has been added and some of the CSS has been altered.
Just over a month since our last release, version 1.1.0 is finally ready for download. Our new version has seen a vast array of new features as well as optimised code. Some of the new features include; News Categories, IP Blocking, Archives, ability to install multiple times on a single DB plus lots more! We've also been spending time working on other aspects of the PHPNews website.
A few small bugs were found in the first PHPNews release and this update has been released to fix them. The installer has also been modified with new documentation to ensure *everyone* can install PHPNews.
At long last PHPNews is out of beta and is ready for download, after months of work by our dedicated development team. But it won't stop here, as we will continue until we make PHPNews the best news management program on the market!
