#7 Problem with discarding old messages

Hi,
...with prev email I forgot to ask you one thing about a
bug in NewsCoaster ;)
I've set a 'discard time' of 7 days for a group but I've
seen NC won't delete msgs in the group if you don't read
at least 1
msg after download! After I've read one msg in this group
infact (all msgs were 13 sept old!) and changed
newsgroup to read
the program noticed the old mails and deleted everything.
..
Is this ok? Should NC keep old msgs until you read at
least one in the group? It sounds strange to me...
