The APIS project is licenced under BSD/MIT licences which require copyright and author attribution to remain in the files when they are modified. Unfortunatly this was not made clear in the individual APIS files, and there were inconsistent copyright statements, however most did have some copyright statement in them which should have been retained.

I would also appreciate it if you would make it clear on your project site that the original APIS project still exists and that your project is an alternative fork, not a replacement or official 'new apis'.
