Sorry for the slow response. Things have been busy the last few months.
Edit the note's source & look for a
tag. Does it have a matching ?
I have since uninstalled NixNote and moved back to Evernote on Windows so wouldnt be able to check this.
I had created this particular note in Evernote and opened in Nixnote. This might be due to some incompatability in how Evernote and Nixnote treat

I often get a variation of this error message starting with the same text, "Unable to update note. Invalid note structure : :EDAMUserException: ...". In all cases that I recall, its been fixed by manually removing span tags that use Evernote IDs. Yes, it's a bit laborious! It'd be great if there's a fix.
