Show Pinned Note Items in Tray

Thanks for doing this project it's sorely needed...
There are a few notes that I return to often. Everpad has a feature where it gives on quick access to pinned notes from the tray (I use Gnome Shell in Ubuntu 13.10). Even within the Nixnote interface, I can't seem to find a way to easily get to pinned notes, other than sorting by the Pinned column.
Perhaps you have another panel in the left side bar that shows pinned notes, and you make a "show pinned notes" option in the view menu.
I use the pinned notes for the same reason. I became tired of always hunting for them and havingto change my search to find them. :-)
I'm considering a few things to help with this (assuming you are talking about NixNote 2.0).
1.- Add pinned notes to the tray icon menu so you can find them more easily.
2.- Add recent notes to the tray icon.
3.- Add some type of shortcut list on the left hand side similar to Evernote's shortcuts. Right now Evernote doesn't provide an API to synchronize their shortcuts. Ideally I'd like to wait until they do.
Pinned notes are in the tray icon and favorites are available. I also would like to add shortcuts to the tray icon when I get time.
