On show/hide I loose nixnote completely

Fedora 23 64bit, MATE
I have minimize and close to tray enabled. With a certain sequence of clicks I "loose" nevernote and can never open it up. This happens probably 3-4 times a day. (I think that I click show/hide with it being shown but not in focus - it minimizes/hides, and I am never able to bring it up again - without quiting/killing). I could observe this on betas 3,5 and 7. Was not present in 1.5.
Have been using nix/nevernote for a while now. Please keep up amazing work!

Desktop recording of the bug
I can't recreate this on KDE.
Try this...
The next time it happens, open another terminal window and type "nixnote2 show_window". Does that bring it to the foreground?
Another thing that may be useful is to set the message level to "Trace" in the Preference settings and attach the output.
This bug occurs for me as well on Linux Mint 17.3 with Xfce 4.12.
Observed on 2.0 Beta 7.
Running "nixnote2 show_window" in the terminal does make Nixnote reappear.
I'm seeing this on Lubuntu 16.04 with LXDE
log attached
I repeatedly clicked the icon after setting log level to trace
That option is very window manager specific. My best guess is that Qt isn't talking to the window manger properly. The "show_window" option just triggers the same logic that would happen if Qt gets the signal from a tray icon click. I doubt there is anything much I can do.
It used to work perfectly in 1.6 and older versions and still does with the same window manager.
Not 100% positive about any of the 2.0 betas - switched only recently.
I may have fixed it. When beta 9 is out give it a try and let me know if it does (or does not) correct the problem.
No response. Closing. If this is still an issue please reopen the ticket. Thanks.
