#174 version 2 Beta Debian not syncing all notes.

v1.0 (example)

When syncing I am only getting 38 notes of 250+. Multiple syncs doesn't resolve the issues. All of the folders do show up.

Installed the 64bit Debian Beta 1 package in Linux Mint 16 with Cinnamon 2.0.

Every other thing appears to work fine. I looked at multiple notes formatted in multiple ways and they all look normal.

Can you delete ~/.nixnote, restart nixnote2, then go to Edit/Preferences/Debugging and set the message level to Debugging. Do the sync. When it is done, look in ~/.nixnote/logs-1 and attach the message log? If there is anything sensitive you may need to email it to me or remove anything sensitive (it should mostly just be note titles).

Here is the log file. I forgot to mention that I am behind a proxy server, There might be an issue with that, even though I have a system wide proxy setting in Linux.
I only downloaded 27 notes of 250+ on the sync after deleting .nixnote.

Yes, the proxy server is almost definitely the cause. I'm working to eliminate Thrift and go with another open source API and the author says it works behind a proxy, so hopefully that will correct this. The bad news is that it is going to be a pretty good size effort to replace it, so it may be a few weeks until beta 2 is out.

I'm not behind the proxy. But I experienced the same issues. Only 74 out of 228 notes are downloaded. I used nixnote2.x86_64 0:2.0_beta1-0 in Fedora 20

I just did what Randy said with V2 (delete .nixnote folder) and restarted and WAITED PATIENTLY eventually all the notes synced.

I have exactly the same problem - in my case only 25 from 500+ notes synchronized. I did exactly what is recommanded above - delete ~/.nixnote, restart nixnote2, then go to Edit/Preferences/Debugging and set the message level to Debugging. Do the sync....

Message.log is attached - I can see some errors there, bud I don't understand them, because I am not a developer. I use Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64 bit (but the same problem was observed at Linux Mint Debian Edition). All other functions are perfect.

    Maybe language problem?

Please try beta 4 to see if it helps. If you find any notes that cannot be synchronized, go into them and edit the note (just put a space on the end) to force it to re-save. That may correct the issue.
