Neutrino - Nomad Jukebox management / News: Recent posts

Not much has been done on neutrino recently, but the project is not dead. CVS has just seen the addition of the njbstack module, which will form the basis for the next release of neutrino. This will also allow the following of the initial plan of allowing access to a jukebox from multiple sources, playing tracks / playlists from a jukebox in totem, or rhythmbox for example is already working.

A big thanks has to go to Pedro Ayala Gomariz for his initial gnome-vfs module which motivated the work on njbstack, and has formed part of the codebase.

A new release of Neutrino is now available. This should sort out instability problems caused by threading issues, and also provides enhanced access to track information on jukeboxes via CORBA.
