When training my neural networks, I encounter the error "null" every time. I followed the getting started instructions step by step but they will not train. This holds true for all neural networks.

I have the same problem. Do you have an idea to resolve it ?
    Thanks

    Hi,

I just ran into this. For some reason Neuroph is trying to write a file into the directory containing the Neuroph install. This fails because users don't have write access to this directory and gives the null error.

On my system (Windows 7), I copied the entire Neuroph install directory into my home directory (c:\users\bill ) where I have full permissions. Then I launch Neuroph from that directory by double clicking on it (it's under neurophstudio\bin on windows)
    HTH

    Bill.

    ok Thanks Bill,
You have given me a useful suggestion. On windows 7 you also can run Neuroph with right click and then "Run as Administrator"
