#9 Keyboard isn't sending BACKSPACE

Issue: Target windows do not react when a backspace key event is sent.

Reproduction:

1. Enter text into the target window (either via the NL Keyboard or standard keyboard).
2. Switch focus from target window to NL Keyboard.
3. Click BACKSPACE on the NL Keyboard.

Expected Behavior: Text in target window should be deleted.
Actual Behavior: No reaction.
