Hi all,
I need your help: In order to make this framework easier and more useful, I need your contribution. The idea behind this framework is to develop a GUI like GNS3 and make this framework more stable. So if you are interested and have C/C++ programming skills, please contact me at zahid.med@gmail.com
This framework is designed to provide a new tool for network simulation based on a huge traffic. Unlike Dynamips (GNS3), it can manager more packet rate and provide a similare connecting interfaces.
This framework is basically made for research purpose and specially for studying Distributed Denial of Services (DDoS) attacks based on Botnet IRC and peer2peer. To reach this goal, we developed and other project wich is Lightweigh C++ Virtual Machine (LwCVM) framework see [1][link] that allows making thousand of virtual machines in one physical machine. This framwork implements the TCP/IP stack so you can develop Bots overs them using C++ and connect them to the network emulator.
The aim of the two project is to provide a framwork for testing botnet detection and trace-back algorithms in order to fight against DDoS attacks.
