I cannot get check_netsaint to work on my Redhat 7
i386 workstation. I am using ver 1.2.9-3 of the
plugins. Are ther any tests or checks I can perform?
Question:
Why is that, that when i run the check_netsaint command
from command prompt, Netsaint is able to find its own
process, However, the Process Status in Gui says "Netsaint
Process Not found", therefore command options are disabled.
$ /usr/opt/netsaint/libexec/check_netsaint /usr/opt/netsaint/v
ar/status.log 5 \
> '/usr/opt/netsaint/bin/netsaint /usr/opt/netsaint/etc/netsain
t.cfg'
NetSaint ok: located 1 process, status log updated 3 seconds

What do you mean? Have your tried ./check_netsaint
in the libexec directory (as root)?
Have you announced the plugin in your config-files?
