Sometimes it is useful to be able to monitor a lower
bound on the value, so I have added an option -r (--
reverse) to reverse the comparison with the threshold.
Also it seemed to me that there is a bug in
call_getopt assuming that the -w and -c arguments are
at certain positions in argv. This has been fixed.
Tested on SunOS 5.7 with gcc 2.95.3
