The file doesn't normally contain anything - you write to it, netsaint reads from it, the file is then empty again. An "example" of the format to write a command in would be different depending on the command you want to issue. The list of available commands, along with their syntax, is available in the netsaint documentation, here: http://www.netsaint.org/docs/0_0_7/extcommands.html You may also be interested in some of the stuff in the contrib directories of netsaint and the plugins (they each have a contrib dir).
