Initial release of Net-phone

The first public release of Net-phone is available. This is a simple command line IP telephony client for Linux. It features low ear-to-ear delay, low bandwidth requirement and good audio quality. Unlike other IP telephony programs, this can be used from behind a firewall (NAT) on one end without a proxy, or even both ends with a proxy running on a public host. It does not conform to any standard, so interoperation with other programs is not possible.

This program is available for download at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/netphone
