The second and hopefully final beta release of the upcoming NetOffice v2.6.0 is ready for testing. Depending on the number of testers that help us out and report issues will greatly impact the time till the final version. Speaking of "issues" please report any identified in this release with the new bug tracker found at: http://netoffice.sourceforge.net/bugs/ ** Please remember that this is a *BETA* and should not be used in mission critical environments. _Some of the key improvements since 2.6.0 beta 1:_ * [NEW] Language editor for multiple language support. * [NEW] Project milestones * Improved iCal support for task, milestones, and meetings (Use in iCal compatible clients such as Sunbird, Mozilla Calendar, etc...) * Improved the Calendar so you can view by project or your personal one * All Gantt charts now look the same. The activity bars are color coded to match the status color and the fill color is red for high priority tasks. * Separate blocks for opened/closed task(s) and milestones. This release has gone through an extensive testing period by way of the communities help. The focus of this release was on resolving the bugs in the 2.5 branch. With over a dozen bug fixes and updating the third party classes to their latest versions, this should be the most stable package to date. I am tagging this as a MAJOR BUG FIX release and it is a recommended upgrade over previous versions. For more information on changes please review the change log. We have made several improvements and fixes with this release. The = upgrade process has been improved and is done in a similar fashion as = first time installations, be sure to read the "docs/install.txt" first. = Language abstraction has been improved and we have added the ability for = you to add your customized language strings to = "languages/lang_global.php" which you will need to create and it will = survive future upgrades. We have also moved the contents of the = "includes/customvalues.php" to the master language file. So if you have = customized notes or phases then you will need to move them to the new = lang_global file. We have also greatly improved the sessions. Hello! I have installed netoffice in my machine and its all going well, but when i add a Concept,Planning to Phases with start date and end date it does not show the end date in the Phases.
