[Netmail-devl] modification to spamd.raw

I need some guidiance on how best to proceed.  I've modified spamd.raw 
to do a couple of things:

1.  It will rewrite all headers of messages (like the original spamd.raw 
message).
2.  I also have an option to now move messages that are flagged as spam 
to a different folder (but looking at the message envelope).

I'm also looking adding more features as well - so my question is this:

How should I best modify the source?  Just go for it and upload it to 
CVS?  Should I just post it as a patch to let it be "approved"?
