The documentation I've been reading does not appear to reveal a way to add a stream to MimeAttachment, like you can do with regular Attachment. In the following link, it only shows that you can add a "file address". Does this mean path to a physical file? One of the constructors for Attachment allows for supplying a content stream, but the constructors for MimeAttachment hide this and make it unusable.
