I ran the VM for a bit and liked the system. Figured i'd config our NTP box for it, since it doesn't do much.
Got it config'd and had it run through our various switch gear without much trouble. I installed apache2, and am now unsure what to do. Comparing it against the VM hasn't been overly helpful.
what have I missed?

If you look at the top of the netdb.cgi.pl file in /opt/netdb/ it should have all the instructions to get the CGI up and running like the VM. As long as the base system is up and running there's just a few more things you need to do there to get the CGI going. Let me know if the instructions are not clear.

No problem, it's mostly canned but you have to at least copy over the file to your cgi-bin and the config file to /etc, the instructions should all be there in the file.

Thanks for the super-quick response. I figured there was a canned web app... will I have any luck copying it out of the VM ?

yep, got 'er working. Thanks for the dellscaper function, too!
Great, let me know if you run in to any issues with the Dell scraper. It hasn't been thoroughly tested yet and there might be a few glitches to fix.

How much effort would be involved to let it do telnet?
