[Netcommon-developer] Question about facade design

 Hi,

I was wondering why Common.Logging designers chose NOT to use a static log class. For example you could just as well have created a facade around log4net that just used a default logger. Was that because the "logger structure" was a desired effect? Or because it would be easy for existing log4net users to adopt? Or perhaps some other reason?
