Hi! first of all congrats! distriblend it's a great tool. just what I was looking for: a simple, straight-forward, multi-platform and easy-to-install blender distributed renderfarm.

I have a few suggestions:

1-it would be great to have more control over the tasks being performed by the nodes. For example, the possibility of monitor there progress individually, starting, pausing or stopping them, resuming uncompleted tasks, etc.

2-it would be really great if one could control the nodes from the client (or from the nodes config itself), I mean assigning period of time where the node is permitted to render, periods of time where the network is available, max amount of CPU permitted to use when rendering a task, etc. Similarly to BOINC's settings.

What happened to me was that I was testing the app and I submitted a really big .blend file and one node started rendering it, but after 5 min, I needed to use that PC and I had to manually kill blender's process because it was taking 95% of my CPU. And immediately the node started rendering another frame, so I had to shut down the node app too.

Finally, I´m a Java programmer so I´m willing to contribute to this project if necessary. Just contact me!

Cheers,
Leandro
