Dear all, When I send a SNMPv3 message, our stack sets the msgMaxSize field to 1300 bytes. I was under the impression that the agent should respect this number and make sure the size of the response does not exceed this number. Is that correct? However, it does not happen in the net-snmp stack. It tries to send 4798 bytes that of course never receive my end. Thanks, Birgit ps When responding, please reply to me personally as well. -- Birgit Arkesteijn, bi...@we..., -- Westhawk Ltd, Albion Wharf, 19 Albion Street, Manchester M1 5LN, UK -- tel.: +44 (0)161 237 0660 -- <URL: http://www.westhawk.co.uk> |
