Re: problem with HP-UX 11 snmp setup

The out of box snmp for HP/UX 10.20 and 11.0 should be the same, Emanate for
10.20 (yes it says this on 11.0 also). The process that runs is snmpdm. To
start the OE agent, run snmpd, you should see this output
# snmpd
Start SNMP Master Network Management daemon
SNMP Research SNMP Agent Resident Module Version 14.0.1.0
Copyright 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 SNMP Research, Inc.
# Start SNMP HP-UNIX Network Management subAgent
Start SNMP MIB-2       Network Management subAgent
Start SNMP Trap Dest  Network Management subAgent

It runs the enterprise.11 and mib2 as subagents.
If you see the MIB-2 message then your walk should work.

This is from a box stock 11.0 box loaded a couple of weeks ago
