That includes the 'm' and 's' directories (or the relevant elements of them). You might want to take and install the mibs/ directory, unless you're happy to work with numeric OIDs throughout. Of the others, you can probably safely get rid of: agent local (unless you want 'tkmib' or 'snmpconf' or one of the other tools there) man (if you don't need the man pages) manager ov (unless you'll be running HP's OpenView) perl (if you don't need the perl SNMP module) testing (ooohhhh) win32 (if it's not a Windows box you're using) I'd probably keep all the top-level files - they're not very big, and unless you know what you're doing, you're likely to omit a vital one! As Niels suggested, remove any directory you're not using from the SUBDIRS/INSTALLDIRS lists in Makefile.in, etc Dave |
