hpux net-snmp binary

I am having an issue with the hpux 11.0 binary & getting it to
function properly. The notes in the readme mention having to
trap while issueing the ./snmp command.  

Recently, snmp seems to be working but it is the HPUX snmpd &
not the net-snmp.

I also tried to compile net-snmp and received errors with
undefined variables ` * ` during compilation.

So then I am wondering if anyone is using hpux on 11.0 and has
some experience with this sort of problem. ()
