I was wanting to try and bring the agent (and snmptrapd) option handling into line with all the other applications. Obviously, both of these will have their own specific requirements, hence my suggestion of using '-A' for those (at least for the agent). I suppose you could just use -C (as with the other command-specific stuff), but the agent felt sufficiently different, that having it's own distinct group option seemed vaguely sensible. It's just an idea, anyway. Dave |
