the Nessi2 manual mentions that it is possible to export the generated traffic to a pcap file for analyzing it with wireshark, however i don't see any options for that.
Could someone give me a hint for how to do that :)?

Sorry, for the late answer, somehow the notification for a new post was lost.
NeSSi2 provides an application called Sniffer to achieve this, simply place the sniffer application on any device you want and configure it. The application will then create the PCAP file.

I placed sniffer application on 4 devices and set its parameters with value 'true'. after simulatin , I can't find any pcap file in nessi2 folder. could you tell me where the pcap files are created?

The PCAP file you specified for the sniffer application should be located in the NeSSi2 backend, relative to the location were the batch/shell script is located.
