#3 short cuts and settings wont save

Hello,
after i create short cut button combinations, how do they save.
every time i turn on my DS and run "NES DS" i have to remake the shortcuts. am i suposed to save the NesDS.ini

i have made my short cuts and set up the settings the way i want, but they dont stay. not even if i click on save NesDS.ini

could someone help. thank you
