#317 GEC Migration off XSan

Our long term plan is to migrate off the XSan. The GEC web application may have dependencies on this storage. I think we have a pretty good handle on moving home directories and celsius off the xsan but don't really know what this is going to mean for the GEC core/web application. Please look into this and give us a plan for removing the XSan from the GEC system.
