#312 Network Connection for SOLiD Machine

Andy, we need to get the network connection/IP addresses sorted out for the new SOLiD machine. This may involve buying a new switch for both the SOLiD and the Solexa machines. The sequencer will be online early next week so please work with Bret on Monday to sort out the details.

Andy, please send me an email updating the "better" solution for this e.g. getting more patch panel ports so we don't have to string wires around the lab. I want to send this to Stan so the powers that be can sanction us taking over more ports on the patch panel.

More generically this bug is for the network connection between UCLA and labcorp for the CanSeq project. We're still waiting for Stan to give us a contact on this but once that happens you'll need to work with them on the network connectivity.
