Allen setup CVS on groove with an alternative to pserver to prevent using LDAP user accounts while still maintaining SSH-like encryption. However this has proved to be really really flakey and unusable as a result. This needs to be migrated back to the standard CVS setup and local users needing CVS access should be created (with different passwords than in LDAP). Alternatively, we have a SF.net nelsonlab project w/ CVS. That can be used for some (but not all) projects.

This can essentially be closed once Nils sets up svn on sumo. Please migrate the CVS repo on groove using the cvs2svn script. Also, we should probably talk about the directory structure in the svn repo so we have a group policy on the heirarchy (e.g. where do people check in their research code, their documents, manuscripts, etc).
