Hi all. I downloaded the pre-built depot of NEdit for
Itanium from:

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Editors/nedit-5.5/

I installed it as root via:

swinstall -s <absolute path>/nedit-5.5-ia64-11.23.depot

It installed fine without errors.

I then returned to my user level and ran:

nedit

and coredumped. gdb reports:

"Program terminated with signal 11. Segmentation fault.
SEGV_ACCERR - Invalid Permissions for object

libXt.so.1 does exist - it's actually a symbolic link
to another file in /usr/lib/hpux32/X11R6

Ideas?

Does the pre-built binary from the website work?

Found it. So I will close this one, feel free to open a new
item if you think we could help with the HP binary.
