5.5RC1 nc is complaining when I start it with a
filename on the command line.

nc -noask -svrname foo filename
or
nc filename

This is poping a window error saying "parse error in
-do macro". Althought there is no "-do" in the command
line.

I have try removing .nedit and .neditmacro from my home
dir and it doesn't work.

This was working in 5.4.

5.5RC1 nedit seams to work fine with the filename on
the command line.

No problem here - is perhaps 5.4 in your path? So when nc
goes to invoke the server, it's finding 5.4 instead of 5.5?
Sadly, the protocol isn't versioned, so you are better off
removing any old versions to avoid incompatability problems.

    Well, you are right.

I was calling ./nc and it was ok but when calling ./nc
filename it seams to use the system nedit, which 5.4.

    Thanks
