1) open a C file. If the "Show Line Numbers " is
enabled and with the default color settings you will
probably be able to see the line numbers displayed
correctly.

2) Change the "Text Area Background" to "white", the
line numbers will dispear.

3) The setting of "Selection Background" may also
affect the line number to be displayed correctly.

4) About the "Apply" button in the color dialog, if you
click once, the line numbers will dispear; click again,
it will be displayed again. Do you intend to make it
like this?

    This is a duplicate of bug #707289, "color dialog". It
    should be fixed in CVS now, but if it persists please
    report it under that bug.
