#10 MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error

I am using release 1.0rc2. from GordianKnot bundle.
When I use nandub by itself I get the above error.
"MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error"

I get the error when I open a mpeg2 that I previous
ripped from a DVD (using Video Vault) The mpeg2 file
has the following
characteristics:
"Land Before Time 11.mpg" size= 2691086336 bytes.
The file plays great with VLC. It has all the
characteristics I want, I just want to compress down. I
believe I now only have
the GordianKnot codec pack, without DivX options.
