After receiving an email about how my system might not have enough memory - it only has 64Mb - I started to investigate my memory usage. Seemingly, the driver still fails when I have 300Mb of swap available, and 58Mb of system RAM. Considering that only 2440 bytes of memory are required, perhaps this isn't the problem. Looking down the list, it seems another person is also having this problem: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=5380855&forum_id=36471 Is it something to do with ndiswrapper, or something to do with the paucity of "DMA coherent memory" (which I have no idea about)? _________________________________________________________________ It's fast, it's easy and it's free. Hi again, reading a post in this list from 28/4/04, I found that I needed to add: kernel.shmmax = 67108864 kernel.shmall = 67108864 to my /etc/sysctl.conf and update the kernel settings accordingly. However, this still failed to coax my card into working. Rob _________________________________________________________________ Want to block unwanted pop-ups?
