I've got an Agere Hermes II and read that it should work with ndiswrapper. So
I tried it, but failed (as you might already have suggested). I already
looked at your webpage and in the wiki, but found nothing..

I'm using SuSE Linux 10.2 with the standard kernel (version you can see in
attachment) and the newest version of ndiswrapper (1.37), which I compiled
The installation works quite fine, and gives the output:
wlagsall : driver installed
device (11C1:AB30) present
Afterwards I used YAST to confgure my WLAN-Card what again worked quite well.
Then I performed a reboot and NetworkManager tried to connect to the WLAN,
what lead to a freeze of the system.
I also tried different version of the driver and ndiswrapper, but had no
I attached the information I could get from my system's log-files, the output
of ndiswrapper -v and lspci.
The log indicates that you tried 1.37 with a very old version of Windows
driver; and there is at least one kernel crash. Start with latest version of
Windows driver and ndiswrapper after a reboot and if that doesn't work,
submit debug trace (I don't have this card either, so without debug trace, no
way to know why it doesn't work).
