I am setting up a hardware test lab in Taiwan as part of my linux
consulting business. I would like to know if any of the developers in
the list would have interest in having remote access to various hardware
for testing and debugging the ndiswrapper.
If it is for testing, it is probably easier for you (or someone around you) to
do so and report problems, if any to this list; ndiswrapper has support for
printing debug trace that can be useful in understanding where things have
gone wrong and sometimes what has gone wrong. If you are offering your
hardware to debug remotely, then it is very hard and time consuming since
ndiswrapper runs in kernel mode, it usually crashes kernel and someone needs
to reboot. Moreover, in case of crash, debug log or any other trace
information is lost. Different time zones make it even harder. It would be
best if you can donate/loan hardware. If that is not possible, let us know
what hardware you have and if necessary, time permits and if remote debugging
is the only way, it may help.
