After a kind soul, thanks Dewet, informed me that you needed ndiswrapper
0.8 because 0.10 would not work, I finally got the f5d7010, broadcom
94306 chipset, working hand configuring (modprobe, iwconfig etc from
command line), it.
Ok, now i want to get it up at boot and be hotplugable. But, all the
info I have found on this assumes you are a ready an expert on the
hotplugging system, which I am not.
I tried using cradctl ident to get thje card info and put it in
/etc/pcmcia/conf as follows
class "network" module "ndiswrapper"
card "Belkin F5D7010"
manfid 0x02d0, 0x0417
Rebooted and plugged the card in at least hoping for ndiswrapper module
to load. But nothing.
So, how do you get the broadcom 94306 and ndis wrapper to come up on
boot and/or hotplug?
Running from a Slackware 10.0 installand kernel 2.4.26.
