Someone mentioned earlier yesterday that:
Note: loadndisdriver segfaulted and the kernel oopsed with 2.6.1 (as
reported earlier on the mailing list).
Just FYI, I've been running ndiswrapper on 2.6.1 since the day of its
release without any problems whatsoever. I have a Centrino card.
There was also some talk on KDE/GNOME WiFi applets. I use gkrellm for
all kinds of information, and for me it works really well. gkrellm can
accurately report the signal level. Link quality still comes out to be
zero though. But as a general esimate, signal level is highly correlated
with link quality so I just use that.
