Hi, I've had a trawl through the lists and been unable to find a reference
to this, so here goes:
I have just installed Fedora Core 2 test 2 on a Dell Latitude X300, which
has a built in Mini PCI TrueMobile 1300, based on the broadcom chipset
This FC2T2 has a patched 2.6.3 kernel, including SELinux patches.
I thought I'd try ndiswrapper together with the Dell-supplied driver
bcmwl5.inf/sys from the R65194.EXE download. I've tried both 0.6 and 0.7
of ndiswrapper at this point.
First issue was that the selinux feature was disallowing
call_usermodehelper in driver/wrapper.c from calling /sbin/loadndisdriver,
but after ensuring /sbin/loadndisdriver was in the security context
system_u:object_r:hotplug_exec_t I do indeed get a wlan0 interface (OK, I
realise it's not really hotplug...)
Next issue, I've been having a bit more trouble with; attempting to set a
wep key with "iwconfig wlan0 key xxxxxxxxxx" causes the following Oops:

If anybody has any insight into this problem, I'd be very interested to hear.
