just wanted to say a big "thanks" to the developers and contributors of
ndiswrapper. Together with 2.6.10 it gives me a (up to now ;>) stable
setup on my Thinkpad R40 (AR5211). A year ago, I started with madwifi,
which became more and more stable and useable but still breaks down
connections to my AP every (half) minute. So I switched to driverloader;
unfortunately only version 1.66 works for me. Newer releases froze my
system almost immediately. Luckily, ndiswrapper seems to work! While 0.12
froze my machine (however, after severeal hours which is a fair progress
compared with driverloader), 1.0rc3 (with a non-preempt kernel) runs
fine. At the moment I am building a preemptible kernel and test the
