Im needing to authenticate to an 802.1x server using the ndiswrapper driver, im
using the open1x client (xsupplicant) to do this.
At this stage im not getting anywhere at all, and I believe that this is due to the
card being unable to associate with the ap (or at least pretend it is) before
getting the correct WEP key. This is a problem as xsupplicant wants the lan card
associated before it does the authentication and thus gets the correct WEP key.
linux 2.6.5 (debian dist, pure kernel)
ndiswrapper 0.6 (can upgrade to CVS if need be)
intel 2100b card (works fine with standard AP...)
open1x versions 0.8b or 1.0-pre2 (i tried both)
xsupplicant just spits out You do not appear to be associated to a wireless network!
which is very true, but without a WEP key i cant get the card to associate with the ap.
any help will be greatly apreciated, I can dump any logs anyone wants...
