Hi!... this is my first message to this mailing list... and here it is my=20
I'm the owner of a hp laptop model: zd7050ea, and I installed a Linux Gento=
2004.0 in it the other day... since my wireless card: Broadcom Corporation=
BCM94306 (it comes integrated into the laptop) is not soported by the=20
manufacter under linux I tried to use ndiswrapper without luck.
lspci shows this:
02:03.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM94306 802.11g (rev 02)
My computer has a PIV procesor with SMP enabled (HyperThreathing). After=20
istalling the ndiswrapper 0.6 under a kernel: 2.6.3 the system seems to fin=
the wireless card witout any problem. I can see that ndiswrapper detects th=
card and activate a network inteface wlan0.
My problem seems to be connect with my wireless router... It is configuring=
using essid and a key of 128 bit, if I use iwlist wlan0 scan I can see my=20
wireless router... but when I do: iwconfig essid MYESSSID key s:MYWIRELESSK=
seems not to work... a dmesg show this:=20
Using Linuxant driverloader and the same iwconfig parametres all seems to w=
ok!... can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong??

You may want to give the encryption mode (open or restricted)
explicitly. Try 'iwconfig wlan0 key open s:KEY'.

That is fine. The driver calls CancelTimer quite often.
