from different users and from the bug section on sourceforge I followed
that in general ndiswrapper is able to turn on the wifi led on
notebooks with the intel wireless pro 2100b card.
However, on my ASUS M2400N the wlan LED does not switch on or off. The
card works just fine with ndiswrapper version 0.4 except the LED and
that it is not accepting the nickname command (not much of a problem).
Is there anythink I can do to have the LED working. An "echo 1 > /proc/
acpi/asus/wled does switch it on. It would be very nice if ndiswrapper
supports the LED natively, but any suggestion for a script is
appreciated as well. But in fact it should indicate the real status of
the card meaniing ON: card consumes energy, OFF card does not consume
any energy, FLASHING transmitting data (Rx and Tx)
If the LED currently is not supported by ndiswrapper on this card/
notebook combination I request this as a feature. Unfortunately
programming is not one of my strength so that I have to leave it to the
