Hi everyone I've got ndis-wrapper working for my netgear wg311v2, the wlan0 device shows up and everything seems ok. Problems come up when I try to enable WEP: Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) : Invalid argument "key" I looked around a little and discoverd that this is a common problem, however I cannot find a solution. Usually I see suggestions like "put 0x before the key", or "put s: before the string". I tried using iwconfig itself (instead of ifup) and it gives the same error. Is this the correct usage? # iwconfig wlan0 key restricted 1A2B3C4D... If so, does anyone know what causes this error? Chris |
