I previously posted that I could not get ndiswrapper 1.2 or 1.2-cvs to
compile on 2.6.13-rc5-mm1 or 2.6.13-rc6. I got it working after a bit of
emailing and searching linux's source tree.
The corrections I made:
LINUX_KERNEL_VERSION defined in ndis.c should be LINUX_VERSION_CODE now.
pci_set_power_state (pdev, PMSG_ON or PMSG_SUSPEND ) in loader.c or
wrapper.c should be:
pci_set_power_state ( pdev, pci_choose_state( pdev,PMSG_ON) )
I'd post a patch, but haven't figured out how to create patch files yet,
and haven't bothered to put in #ifdef directives so the same code will
compile under any kernel.
I didn't investigate the halt error I got as it did not occur in
2.6.13-rc6. Either it only happened in Andrew Morton's kernel or
changing LINUX_KERNEL_VERSION fixed it.
this is off topic, but has anyone had any luck getting a netgear wg511
v3 card to work with the native kernel prism54 code?
