I'm using NDISwrapper 0.8 with an Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG interface. Once I
boot up (and the ndiswrapper module is loaded), I start getting entries
in /var/log/messages like this about once a second until I use iwconfig to
configure the interface (note that it is not required to actually bring the
interface up to make the messages stop.
This is the type of thing I'm seeing:
Jul 20 08:47:51 snowshoe wlan0: getting configuration failed (C0000001)
I looked around for this problem on Google and most people getting this type of
error weren't able to use their interface at all. However, I can use mine just
fine once I configure it and bring it up.
More of an annoyance than anything else, but it's really polluting my log file.
Please forgive me if this has been covered before, I've only been on this list
for a couple of days.
