I am using ndiswrapper 0.7+CVS (Fedora Core 1, kernel 2.6.6, 4KSTACKS
off) with an Intel 2100 card. The driver almost never loads, it has
problems allocating memory. If DEBUG is off, then the message "failed to
allocate DMA coherent memory. Windows driver requested 128 bytes."
appears in the kernel logs. I tried adding the lines recommended in the
FAQ to /etc/sysctl.conf. I also have tried 3 different versions of
w70n51.sys: the two linked to on the project web site and the version
that is available for my laptop (Dell 300m). The messages from
ndiswrapper compiled with DEBUG=1 are attached.
"Irrigation of the land with sewater desalinated by fusion power is ancient.
It's called 'rain'."
